Free T-Shirts
Hey all,
DiscoverLaw.org is giving away free t-shirts just for signing up for their site. It seems to be a site set up by LSAC for minority students. It's mostly geared toward pre-law and recent grads, but a free t-shirt is a free t-shirt. Hop on over if you're interested.

LMAO! that's the same thing I said. But I mean it's only 4 digits and it supposed to be an LSAC production.Aggiegrad2011 wrote:Last 4 of SSN? Yeah no.

Had the same reaction about the last 4 of SSN, but at the top right they have the LSAC sponsored logo. Either they're using that logo for the purpose of fraud or it's a legit website. I'm going with the latter.

It's legit. I've researched it. A number of law schools have held events on their campuses that were sponsored by discoverlaw.org.Sh@keNb@ke wrote:Had the same reaction about the last 4 of SSN, but at the top right they have the LSAC sponsored logo. A school I'm interested in had it linked. I doubt they'd put up fraudulent sites. No need for paranoia.

Yea its legit. We have a student representative/coordinator on campus and she's always giving away free tshirts and bags and shit. Also check out For People of Color. They have lots of great info on that site. You have to sign up to get it but I dont remember them asking for an SSN or anything.

Legit or not, asking for the SSN is silly.

^Then don't request it. They probably ask for it to see how many minority students who used the site actually go on to apply and matriculate to law schools. I fail to see how that's silly.
