Hey, congrats on your score!! Interns, however, did defeat me. Got a 165 here, but retaking in October. Hope this thread catches on!

Congrats to everyone who sat for this exam. I remind you (and myself) that this exam neither defines us, nor the impact we can make with a legal education. I wish you all the best.

This thread is odd. No advice is being solicited yet LSAT scores are being posted... almost as if the sole purpose was bragging.

Definitely no bragging intended. I think that some of us want to know the relative strength of the URM pool next cycle. Congrats, guys btw. For those retaking good luck in Oct.

Not sure how you reached that conclusion. There is only one person that appears to be truly excited about their score. At least one is retaking and a few others either just posted their score or the context in which they reached their score.
What unsolicited advice do you think this thread - one that was created primarily to reveal scores -- should have included somewhere in the small number of posts?

Too frustrated to edit. You know what I'm saying and if you don't just ignore the question.

Why are there so many exclamation points which connote excitement and happiness? There's nothing to be happy about...October retake here I come. FML. Let me stop, congrats on that 171...I don't even know where to begin to muster up the strength to study for this again.

Well if I say, if you get a 171, go ahead and brag. If I scored that high I'd probably call a press conference.

And that bothers you why?
171 is definitely something worth bragging about.

179.
And I will ask for advice - with a low GPA (3.3ish), where should I be looking? I have good work experience, I'll have decent LOR.

Lucky for me there wont be a need for much obsessing once apps go out. I have a pretty huge range of schools that I'll be happy to attend given enough $. I would even be happy attending ::gasp:: Vandy if they give me 90-100k. The only school that really really stands out for me is Stanford and I know that I wont be getting a response from them before december and by then I should have at least a couple of acceptances in hand.

What kind of URM? If AA....In at H, Out at Yale, WL at S (they dislike low GPAs, even if you are a URM)...probably in everywhere else, with a ton of money coming your way.
