I got put on reserve for Cornell. First "decision" of the cycle - eek.

I would not let a weird Cornell decision worry you. They're being wonky this cycle (I really can't think of another way to put it).

I guess it's better than a flat-out rejection? Lol.

Well, Cornell has been particularly choosy this cycle so I guess that's better than the straight up reject they gave a lot of people lol

Not me. Lol. I applied in early January, and have only heard back from one school.

This year might be one where they are really held to march. I've only heard back from 6 schools. Still waiting on 10.

Not me. Lol. I applied in early January, and have only heard back from one school.

Most of my apps were in by October with a few sent in late October, and of the 13/20 schools I've heard back from, only 4 got back to me before New Year's. Seems like things are moving a little slowly, but I read on some post on here that a slow yes is better than a quick no, right? lol

And yeah, I'm waiting to negotiate scholarships once seat deposits are due and then making final decisions.

Yeah, I am really loving NU so far, but I still have 7 more schools to hear from. It's hard to decide before money lol

I dont think so.
I think theyre a couple of URM's that have gotten into places, but are not posting their info on this site.
I know of some myself and I talked to brininicole about 1 of them in a PM.

It is aggravating, but that is life.

Basically the ball is in Harvard's court. I am already in the Boston area and would love to stay. But I got the full Darrow w/ stipend, so unless I ~love~ UVA or hate Michigan more than I hate taking out 80K in loans I will be there.

EDIT: I applied around thanksgiving and have heard from 12/14 schools I applied to, not including Illinois whose app I withdrew. I have only heard from Michigan, UVA, and BU about scholarship info though. So, as self-centered as this is, my cycle is going fine.

No idea yet. The waiting game for $$ is super real.

The cycle just seems slow, not necessarily bad.

I would *imagine* with the state of the country, diversity and representation in the legal profession is a top priority for schools.

Wow thats rude haha. My emails gets filtered to a folder specifically for law school but that doesn't stop a wayward email from giving me a heart attack every so often.
