I'm starting to hate the weekends because I know for at least 2 days every week I won't hear a peep from any school. urrgh! the combination of the winter blues and my impatience is a drag. Congrats to all those in so far, I hope to join you soon!

Sunday's the worst. At least on Saturday you might get something in the mail but on Sunday you know you won't hear anything.

Almost everytime I look up someone says, "In at NYU." I hope the trend at Columbia is similar.

In at Cornell and Notre Dame. If you have extensive WE, in at NW, if not, maybe. Slight-decent shot at Berkeley depending on your socio-economic status.

Waiting: Yale, Stanford, Columbia, Harvard

Honestly, I am gunning for both Yale and Stanford though they are a reach for everyone. While I feel grateful for the schools I have been accepted to, I would be *thrilled *to get in at either Y or S. Like-pass-out-and-hit-the-floor-and-scream-like-it-is-a-church-revival thrilled.

In the meantime, I am hoping for a phone call or email with good news.

I don't think so. Isn't Columbia one of the schools that really do wait to see the URM application pool as a whole and then starts making decisions? I feel like URM acceptances at Columbia don't start going out (en masse) until like late Feb. But I think URM admissions at Columbia is wierd anyway....
