So annoyed. I hoped to find a flight this week for ~30k miles to STL. No luck.

Well I hear STL is quite nice. If you've got the miles, why not?

I don't have infinite miles :)
But I wonder how much impact it'll have. I have where to stay down there so I won't spend much money on it, I would like to know if it'll have real impact though.

Well that's a different question. Honestly, it would be an expression of interest, but since you've already interviewed, I kinda doubt that it would make a huge difference. Others ITT feel free to chime in.

I wasn't planning on crashing on ASW :)

Was thinking of going Wed and stay for one night.
I interviewed and sent a LOCI today, which is why I'm debating of the impact

I take it back again. The LOCI should suffice, honestly.

Save the miles and cash in case you're admitted so you can get a tour and everything. If you already interviewed I wouldn't waste the trip.

You're probably right. My only reasoning for this is to show them how interested I am by spending time and money to get there, meet them even without being offered admissions. Is that too much of a stretch?

EDIT: plus a good friend of mine, who is also a pretty hot resident at the WashU hospital lives there and I can stay with him 8)

I thought so :|
I mean I do think that it shows merit but I'm confused to how much of an impact it'll have

So are all the gays going to WUSTL? I didn't even know to apply :(

My mother is from STL but I didn't realize it was such a scene.

Duh it's where Andy Cohen is from. Basically the entire Bravo network was birthed there.
