I don't have infinite miles
But I wonder how much impact it'll have. I have where to stay down there so I won't spend much money on it, I would like to know if it'll have real impact though.

Save the miles and cash in case you're admitted so you can get a tour and everything. If you already interviewed I wouldn't waste the trip.

You're probably right. My only reasoning for this is to show them how interested I am by spending time and money to get there, meet them even without being offered admissions. Is that too much of a stretch?
