Did anyone get a second interview invite from SEO? I wonder if it's a prerequisite to getting offered.

Re: URM 2013-2014 Cycle Thread
Just got an email about an interview with GULC Alumni. I'm excited!!! Still in the running at Harvard and Stanford (fingers crossed)...
To echo other sentiments ITT, still waiting on Vandy to SHOW ME THE MONEY!!
I feel this is the season of URMs. We will dominate this cycle.

I did. The only thing that sucks is that you don't know if anythings in unless you call.Dr.Zer0 wrote:Did you also get a follow up email that asks for a LOR and official transcripts?AAJD2B wrote:Something about interviews

From creeping on last years threads I don't believe it's a prerequisite. Also i don't expect much movement there until enrollment forms are submitted.AAJD2B wrote:Did anyone get a second interview invite from SEO? I wonder if it's a prerequisite to getting offered.

So I have two possibly stupid questions, first, how do you use your LSAC rec's for SEO, like how do you extract them from LSAC to use for other sources? Second, the need access form is only for institutional need based grants, so you still need the FAFSA and all that right?

SEO: you don't. There's a link on the SEO website to request the LORs. They need to be resubmitted to SEO individually.mt2165 wrote:So I have two possibly stupid questions, first, how do you use your LSAC rec's for SEO, like how do you extract them from LSAC to use for other sources? And yes you need both the FAFSA and Need Access for most schools.

Yeah and I would get on that ASAP because some schools have a March 1 deadline

Not a prereq as I understand it. Some people get in with one interview. My sister had at least two and she got in. I think the second means they're still actively considering you. So that's something.AAJD2B wrote:Did anyone get a second interview invite from SEO? I wonder if it's a prerequisite to getting offered.

And the offer was on par with what LSN predicted so I'm hoping it's the same for my top choice.

And honestly it changes every day. I went to GULC and spoke with a BLSA member yesterday (did you guys know that was pronounced BALSA?) and she almost swayed me
But searching for housing in DC is awful. So UVA will probably be the move strictly because I'm lazy.

This week was decent. In at NYU Weds, accepted to UF today. Swept the two best schools in my state! Still waiting on more T-14s though

I only know it's pronounced Basla because I've heard some of my friends who are in law school pronounce it.

Are you retaking for June? And if so, are you doing so for scholly negotiations/wait list?Dr.Zer0 wrote:Finally submitted that Yale app which means I'm finally done with law school apps!!!

Yeah, I'm hoping to improve my LSAT score to negotiate schollys but I also want to stay in CA so I hope to improve my chances Berkeley and Stanford too (if not this cycle then the next).
