dinged at berkeley ... priority reserve at duke. full ride to TTTTTTT safety (blah)

i'm assuming this means i'm most likely out for HYSCCN (well - didn't apply to Y)

Don't give up hope!

Berkeley doesn't like GPAs that are on the low side, but the T6 isn't completely out of reach if your app is solid as a whole. I know a few URMs with similar numbers who have broken into the T6, and several who are at MVP.

I'm obviously no expert in the matter, but don't lose hope. If I'm not mistaken, Berkeley is known as a black box of admissions. They are incredibly unpredictable in who they admit. Don't read too much into their ding and keep your head up!

Congrats on the Columbia and Berkley acceptances.

Just got in at USC! Which I'm surprisingly very excited about. I think it's the possibility of going to LA. :mrgreen:

I'm not too sure because it's later in the cycle, but I think you have a good shot at NYU.

And congrats to Gohan and Apple! I was just accepted at UChi too.

Man I think I'm the only URM still shut out of the T14. 0/4 with today's UChi waitlist. Guess I need to consider dusting off my LSAT materials for June.
