Congrats to everyone's acceptances! I don't keep up with the thread much but feel free to PM if you have any questions about anything, especially if you're having a tough time choosing among the schools you've been accepted to.

To you as well! Got the admission package/moleskine in the mail yesterday & it was a very exciting moment.jmj2254 wrote:mindatwork wrote:To all the people ITT who told me to apply to Stanford when I initially wasn't planning on it: THANK YOU.
Got the call yesterday - I'm in! My cycle isn't a done deal (I still have some options to consider - I think NYU & U Mich might give me some $$$) but it's super exciting nonetheless.

Re: URM 2015-2016 Cycle Thread
Update from today:
Admitted:
Duke (tbd)
UVA (over 100k)
Georgetown (tbd)
UCLA ($ with more tbd)
Vandy (tbd)
BC (90k)
Emory (120k+)
W&M (100k+)
UGA (40, but w/ instate tuition offered)
WUSTL (tbd)
UNC (45k)
Waiting for
Harvard
NYU
Columbia
Berkeley (FR)
Cornell (interviewed)
Northwestern (Interviewed)
I'm leaning toward UVA at this point. I was extremely impressed with their law school from speaking with the DoA and the amount of money I received left me in awe. I may try to negotiate for a little more, depending on what Duke, UCLA, Georgetown offer me/if I get admitted to H. But the student life/employment prospects (aiming for work in the DMV/New York area) basically has me sold. I initially felt that my interest was Duke or Georgetown's to lose, but UVA totally swept me off my feet.

I initially was quite surprised at how well my cycle has been going but after lurking on for a bit, I see it's the norm. Hell yea, go URMs. The posts here have been invaluable during my cycle. Thanks all!

Congrats! Come to UVA. Duke shouldn't even be a consideration with the great money you have from UVA. Of course, you'll probably get Harvard, and as always, HLS closes the conversation. lolbellanoche2019 wrote:Update from today:

Re: URM 2015-2016 Cycle Thread
This thread is just making me so happy. I'm really hoping some of us get to be classmates in a few months!
My cycle is going pretty well so far, but you all are killing it! I was pretty stressed because I applied pretty late (mid-late January) after waiting a few months for a letter of rec from my boss.
In:
Virginia ($$$-Dillard)
Berkeley
Duke
