Hmmm...only big difference is that Penn Yield Protects on highly qualified URM applicants. If you are 3.5/162+, you're in the danger zone for their YP hammer, so I hope you indicated some specific Penn interest in your application.
Got into Penn with a 173 but I wrote a why Penn and they made me interview which they almost never do(2 ppl interviewed this cycle on TLS) interview was basically an additional why Penn. So yeah they want to yield protect.

Honestly, you're in some jeopardy, unless Penn is going to be more active with this interviewing. Look at this:

Why in the world would Penn be more selective than HSCCN? Could it be that Penn is WL/rejecting a good number of the URMs that HSCCN are taking?

Hopefully you did the best thing which was apply widely in the t-14, in which case, who really cares about Penn giving you a WL? You think folks at HLS, Columbia, or NYU are spending even one moment thinking about Penn?

Anyone else received a reminder to apply by deadline from CLS? I am curious if they are just trying to up their applicants numbers lol

- Completed Cornell Interview- 2/1 (Still showing as 'Interview Requested on Status Checker)
- In at UCI via email (Not sure about scholly-- have to wait on snail mail)
- Interview coming up w. Chicago
- WL at UCLA (Pretty bummed about it lol)

I on the other hand I'm beginning to worry about not hearing from any of my schools :oops:, how many months should I wait before I start to worry?
This, as with most things, varies by school. Share more...who are you waiting for and when did you apply/go complete?

To all the people ITT who told me to apply to Stanford when I initially wasn't planning on it: THANK YOU.

Got the call yesterday - I'm in! My cycle isn't a done deal (I still have some options to consider - I think NYU & U Mich might give me some $$$) but it's super exciting nonetheless.
