Im not sure which way Im leaning on the HLS v. SLS debate, not gonna think about it intensely until I have to. As far as Yale goes, the more I think about it, the less I think YLS is unquestionably better than HLS. People tend to make the argument of one vs. the other by making comparisons using percentages of each that get things like fed clerkships, academia, etc. I think, however, that the difference in class is so large that absolute numbers should be weighed in the debate as well because of the relative scarcity of these elite position. Looking at in that light really equalizes the schools on those terms. Basically, I dont really see myself choosing YLS over HLS even if I had the choice. Yeah I know the whole class size argument but I just dont put as much stock into it as everyone else.
