Checking in here I guess. Did some searching and it seems like Cubans get a really small boost. Just hoping it overcomes my weaker softs to be honest.

I'm sitting at 170/3.6 so I have the numbers for most of the T14s, hopefully being Cuban can add a little bit of a bonus on top of things

A lot better than I thought. I wasn't happy with my score, but don't have a lot of time to study due to work. I got into USC though very happy with that. Waiting on other apps.

Anyone sharing their cycle so far have numbers similar to mine? GPA is sub-3.5, LSAT is 167.

In at UVA and a couple of safety schools (University of Houston & Howard).

Radio silence from the rest (Michigan, Duke, Chicago, NW, & UT).

Anyone hear back form Duke yet?

Also what Laptops will you guys be using? I don't own one. I own an imac. My friend said you can't use a chromebook because it isn't supported by examsoft.

I've gotten into more schools than I expected. But all these acceptances will honestly mean nothing to me if I dont get enough scholarship money to make attending these amazing schools affordable.

Another thing that I'm wondering... For Duke, the Hispanic box doesn't ask to specify what Hispanic subset you are. Wonder if that means Cubans count as URMs

No & I have a Macbook Pro (not the latest model). Assuming I don't break it somehow, I'll be using this baby. Probably have to take my laptop cover stickers off though lol

Nothing too sinister. Just don't know if I want law professors to remember who I am based on stickers they see when I'm typing notes

Then again... Perhaps it could be a good way to start conversation in office hours

Edit: I'm a UNC grad and was there when Stu Scott died, hence the two Stu Scott stickers. Not that they really needed explaining. Stu Scott was just awesome.

Oh I thought it was going to be a big anime sticker or something lol. That's pretty interesting though :D. RIP

I'm thinking of getting a Macbook or a Surface book.

I'm not familiar with the Surface book. I'm just so immersed in Apple products at this point that Microsoft stuff throws me off/freaks me out. Like.. the keyboard isn't even the same

I've had my imac since 2013. I love android phones though. The Imac is the only apple product I own. I was thinking of macbook but this years I hear is overpriced and a no no. My phone is the Google Pixel.

I posted about this elsewhere though I can't recall the thread. Rarely if ever do schools report Latino/Hispanic breakdown beyond just "Latino/Hispanic". You never hear "we have a 1% Colombian population here on campus!" I'll leave it at that.

How do you like the Pixel? I'm looking to free myself from the chains of Apple and its made-to-die-in-two-years-or-less products, but I'm hesitant to switch to Android (for no real reason other than I'm not familiar with it).

Love the pixel, it is super fast and smooth, camera is amazing, I take it out take a quick picture and I know the picture will be good. The screen is excellent, viewable outside as well. Google assistant is very useful. I have a Google home as well. Also the battery life is excellent. I never worry about it dying on me through a day.

AYYYYYE lol.

Also, I feel like I'd probably switch to something like the Pixel (it looks really nice) if I wasn't so attached to iTunes/iMessage/the cloud.
