And sit this cycle out?mandyjay11 wrote:My issue is december would be my third retake for 2 years and I would have to sit out for 2 years if it doesnt go well. I dont really like that feeling. I do have one recommender, and my transcripts. But my other two lors are lagging. One was from a department of the federal government so my timeline ended up all messed up and blaaaah. So I'll probably just end up using my one from an adviser of an org I'm in.
Honestly, probably whichever I get first.
ALSO AM I THE ONLY PERSON FREAKING. OUT. ABOUT SCORES MAYBE TOMORROW??? OR???????????

If Oct is bad I might just wait out a cycle.

I thought I did well too, so a sub 160 will cause me to hit the gin bottle pretty hard.okaygo wrote:Yeah, I know the feeling. That's how I felt in June. But at this point I know for a fact that I'm not going to be retaking in December, since I walked out of October feeling like that's the best I could've possible done so it is what it is.
still, a sub 160 would be devastating.

Yeah my sub 160 in June was like someone stabbed me in the chest, but i knew it was coming. I gave up during the reading comp section. This time I felt like okaygo, it was the best I could have done right now. So we will see tomorrow - Thursday.Mojosodope wrote:I thought I did well too, so a sub 160 will cause me to hit the gin bottle pretty hard.okaygo wrote:Yeah, I know the feeling. I'm hoping for a 165, I can live with a 160-163, and will not be applying with a sub 160Mojosodope wrote:It's never a bad idea if you think you can improve.mandyjay11 wrote:Mojosodope wrote:

U might be able to do a little more damage with a 159 with your GPA. But that doesn't matter cuz we missed about 5 questions total between the 3 of usokaygo wrote:literally said this to one of my friends less than a hour ago. Ahhhh, now I'm going to have to start doing research. Right now I'm all about GULC or Duke. But I got to school really close to DC so I really want to stay in the area. What are you all's thoughts on GW? Anything?

Not even applying to GW, i have no desire to go there. I am not even sure what they have to offer as a school. Duke is my number 2 and gtown is number 3.
I'm from the DC area and I totally get wanting to stay there, but philly is legit 2 hours on the bus. Duke is waaayyy further.
