Or does anyone know what the timeline is generally like? From the Mich thread it looks like a couple weeks between admit and Darrow invite isn't unusual, and I know my brother got the invite about two weeks after the admit...this is probably the most pressing question I still have in my cycle so if anyone has any insight, please share.Fresh wrote: Did anybody ITT get a Darrow invite from Mich?

So, I've noticed a couple other URMs with the same 11/16 UR date at Harvard. Anyone else have this date/ is this coincidence?

Hahaha, true, have never been so I'll probably make the visit sometime next month. I applied end of October. So, happy to have some decisions before xmas, though! I had no idea how this cycle would go with my low-ish LSAT.RJ127 wrote:Congrats! It's cold as eff in Ithaca! When did you apply?Kaitlyn wrote:Accepted at Cornell today! Nope.. Im gonna get max grant at H(~28k) so the diff isnt sticker vs. free. I would like to be a prof if I have the grades or possibly transition to inhouse counsel and there is the outside chance I may pursue my environmental interests so H def offers some opportunities for me. For me, that makes up the cost differential.CryingMonkey wrote:darrow wouldn't make you think?tkgrrett wrote:Congrats!! Im so jealous.. ETA: Im still not sure about what the Rubenstein at Chicago might do to my thinking though. (I love chicago/the midwest) Pretty sure I wont have that choice so probably a moot point.

Re: URM 2010-2011 Application Cycle
Thanks to everyone on the congrats and congratulations to everyone who have been accepted thus far. Although Stanford loves high GPA's TK, I think you, Fresh and Crying Monkey definitely should be expecting a call from Dean Deal anytime in the near future. With respect to Admission Deans, it really doesn't get much better than Deal, she is as nice and warm as they come. TK, unlike you, I am an east coast guy and extremely fond of HLS and all it has to offer. Although I believe S is just as good, if not better that H, the only thing than can really sway me from Harvard is an acceptance from Yale (Which is really not gonna happen).TK, it does seem like if/when you do get into Stanford, you will be leaning in that direction. Is that assessment accurate? Oh and for the sake of posterity and TLS, please apply to Yale!!!

That is the way to go
