On topic: Finally UR at Chicago and SEO interview is complete.

Still can't believe it's February and over half of those in this thread are still waiting. Financial aid deadlines, ASWs and seat deposits are right around the corner! Come on, law schools!!

I needed to hear this. Thanks!teampeeta wrote:Congrats to everyone accepted to CLS! For those of you who applied early and haven't heard anything yet, don't lose hope. Columbia tends to make weird decisions. The year my sister applied, she had to wait forever for CLS when she was accepted pretty quickly at Stanford. There were other URMs who had similar experiences. I know my non-URM friend who is now at HLS got into NYU really early and had to wait until like April for CLS to come around. When JS called him, he was more than happy to jump ship.
I guess my point is that good news may still be coming your way even if you aren't in this wave.
I know Stanford usually have its URM wave of acceptances in early April though. I hope by then most of us have heard something from the others.

For me it's not so much writing another essay but the limit of 250. I want to write a personal anecdote, but to keep it at 250 is tough. Gotta love Yale.nabadgelyo wrote:Haha nope, just in general, I quoted the wrong excerpt....I have no 250 to show, myself. Not sure if I will apply.
+1 on the Georgetown email btw. It looks like a pretty easy scholarship application.

This. When you have H+S already, you're bound to get writer's block. (250? For whatttttt... LOL)applelover wrote:teampeeta wrote:Still not planning on applying to YLS? I haven't done my 250 either.applelover wrote:Well I'm almost done.
