Thanks everyone!

Just received an interview invite from Chicago! I hadn't heard anything since I submitted almost 2 months ago.

So I've noticed something kind of strange/interesting. I sent about half of my schools on one date in November and then the other half a few days later. Of the former half, I have not heard anything/had much movement, but of the latter half I have already received decisions from 5 schools and have movement on others. It's like the second half hit some sort of sweet spot. lol.

Nothing really to read into, I just think it's interesting. Granted, 5 of the apps I sent in the first half had an error, so whomp whomp to those I guess.

Also, interview invite at Chi today!

Hope everyone enjoys the holidays/time off! Knowing me, I'll still probs do a SC check on xmas. hahaa oh TLS, what have you done to me.

Waiting for app decisions is easier than waiting for your lsat score, which is what I'll be spending the holidays doing.

Plus my car got broken into last night, the scoundrels messed up my harry potter books and stole the scarf i got for my mom. They even took my $5 aviators.

Give me some sympathy URMs. I need a show of solidarity right now, cuz the rest of TLS abandoned me.

Those fuckers. The good news is that your brilliant LSAT score will more than make up for it. :P

Honestly, you probably had it coming. Probably running your mouth and making trouble in your neighborhood. Got your shit took. Too bad. I doubt you'll learn.

Sorry this happened Neurotic :( I'm having some not so great holidays this year as well...My aunt and uncle just lost their house and everything they own in a fire on Saturday and since they've been caring for my other uncle since he was diagnosed with cancer 2 months ago right now life just feels like a bad Xmas movie.

Hope things turn around in the new year. I'm ready to slam the door on 2014.

Well, that definitely put things in perspective. Hopefully their insurance will take care of them quickly, if they don't, threaten them with your harvard law knowledge. But, Amen, let's move on from 2014.

And skool, not this time, but that was a plausible hypothesis. I was trying to avoid paying for parking this month, so i kept leaving it on a sketchy but free street. Usually i move it, but i was lax this time. Word to the wise, if you're living downtown in a major city, don't leave your.car on side streets for over 12 hours.

Congrats on the JS1s! Definitely my most relaxed interview of the ones I've had, and the most enjoyable! Prepare why law, be able to talk about your work experience, ask a few questions. It was really conversational so we mostly talked about my interests and she talked about programs at HLS that serve those interests. Very short, about 12 mins or so.

I think the acceptance rate is about 70-80%, assuming ~1200 interview invites. After the interview is faculty review, which seems to be taking a lot of time this year.

I had my interview 11/12 and heard back 12/15.
