Well, just finished my Dec. retake.
Over the break I'll be applying to the rest of the T14 that gives me waivers and whatever other T1s give me waivers.
Probably put out 4-5 paid apps...depending. Don't really want to spend that much money, hopefully I can get some acceptances early on

For what it's worth, I feel better about this than the 161 in October...not 170 better though.

Congrats to everyone in at NYU! It's my first choice, so I'll be applying this month since I think I'd be an auto reject with my Oct lsat.

I should've been an auto reject and I got my letter today, so you never know. Good luck!

In at MSU with full tuition! It's definitely my safety school, but great, nonetheless, to finally have an admit under my belt - and the prospect of a free education is definitely enticing!

ETA Cornell and Michigan. I think it may be time to withdraw that Duke app, I really can't see any scenario in which I end up going there at this point. But...
i'm kinda scared to withdraw apps.

In at UMich and Texas. Haven't heard back from anyone else yet, I think they're waiting for semester grades to see if my meteoric upwards grade trend is real or not.

Got a lot of NY love today...congrats!
Have any late Nov/early Dec people heard anything back yet? Or is all the movement across the forums from people who submitted Sept-Nov?

Thanks for all the love!
Has anyone heard back about NYU schollys?
Also, any Stanford applicants out there? I didn't throw in my hat before bc I didn't think I had a chance, but now I'm reconsidering. Really got nothing to lose....well...except $100. Think it's too late?

I'm thinking the same thing. Really want to get my app out to SLS. Weary about dropping $100 this close to Christmas, but this might be a necessity.

I just sent out an app on Friday, though I had to put money aside to be able to do that. I figured it's the only chance I'll ever have, and the money is worth the risk.

No, all mine were in on the first-ish. I'm a splitter so I dont know if that makes a difference. Hopefully we will hear soon. At this point I dont care from who.
I think if it lasts any longer I might start sending out more applications! I already have about 20 pending!!

hey everyone i just joined and posted this in 'what are my chances' but thought i'd see what you guys think. essentially, i'm wondering if i should apply this year, wait until next, and which schools would be a good fit for my stats.
3.2/171
-25
-graduating ug this year; took about 8 yrs off and on
-steady, decent public service work experience
-lots of w's/d'/c's on transcript - some semesters are 4.0, others are 2.5 - def have a grade addendum
-urm: aa
where should i aim? any idea how my transcript will play out?
would love to remain on the east, but no further than the midwest.
