8/8 in acceptances so I can't complain - especially with a late cycle start.
6 are t20
3 being t14
Still haven't back from my top 2 choices, but still holding onto hope.

Really hoping I pick up one of those three schools still pending.. Fingers are crossed for myself and all of you!

Re: 2011 - 2012 URM Application Cycle
In an attempt to keep this thread active, i was wondering what you all thought about the change in Harvard's dean. Do you think a minority dean will vastly affect the cycle (positively or negatively) or would it have no effect whatsoever?
Also when it comes to T-14 schools do you al really think that numbers really matter for URMs especially reverse and regular splitters within a certain range? Do they just group us and use other factors to decide our faith?
What is the most surprising admission decision you have gotten so far this cycle (Admit/wl/reject) and what part of your application do you think resonated with the the admissions board?
Do you see a significant effect in the drop of applicants this cycle?
What schools are you currently choosing between?
How many people have been held at various schools and what are you doing to make sure you move from the held group to the admit group?
People are welcome to answer and pose any further questions.

numbers have to matter to an extent, but to what extent no one knows (prob varies by school as well)

in at NYU, never thought I'd crack the T6
