Welp. We're halfway through admissions season, and still not a single acceptance for ol' twenty.

You seem super helpful on this site and I believe good things come for good people so I have faith that it won't be this way for long.

It doesn't feel that way with ASW schedules already being sent out and booked. As a working professional I was hoping to have heard word by some more schools so in the event of an acceptance I can schedule my time off in advance....not to mention, book train and flight itineraries. Ugh, what a disaster.

lol, I've already been having conflicts thinking about possible ASW and other engagements I have coming up plus work. I know it's not ideal, but we have to remember, most top schools do take into consideration December LSAT scores too, and those just recently came out. I will just have to keep looking at my status checkers like crazy, hah. I shudder to think of waiting in the summer to still figure things out *sigh* I'm praying more acceptances come out by the end of January for all of us.

What are SEO interviews like? The SEO website describes them in an odd way:
"SEO conducts behavioral interviews that can include a case study, analytical question, logic question, and/or an interpretation of a recent news item."

Atleast your applications are complete.

Mine will not be until March 1, the deadline for most schools because of the Feb. LSAT.

When I applied for grad school, decisions had to be made by April 15, so I do not know if it is the same for Law, but I would expect decisions do not have to be made until April or May, which means the regular acceptances probably will not come for most until next month maybe.

Or maybe I do not know what the heck I am talking about lol.

Are URM cycles vastly different depending on application time? For instance, I know there is a huge difference between cycles of applicants who've submitted in September versus those who submit in March...but what about January?

I submitted all of my apps during the first week of the new year and have only heard back from one school (my alma mater, non-t14) and I am just so anxious although in reality, there are thousands of applicants in front of me...and it's only been two weeks.

How much do you think the window of opportunity for URMs closes post Christmas? I know "URMs hear back late, typically" but are those the ones who are submitting in September?...or December?

Due to the fact that I submitted in October and have heard back from nine schools already, I assume it's the ones submitting later in the cycle or with really low numbers who hear back late.

No acceptances yet for me either. I think I heard or read somewhere that it's usually supposed to take 8-12 weeks from submission to decision. So, I really don't think it's time to worry just yet.
