Haha! Very valid question! I have campus leadership and community service experience. My prelaw-related activities were more extensive than what most people's probably were. I don't have any national awards or anything like that. I'd say slightly above average, but not extraordinary. I hope that helps! (And I was super surprised about NYU's turnaround! [UR2->decision was only a day!] I'm hoping that means good news for my other applications.)napptural wrote:LS19 wrote:Checking in!
I submitted 12/2 for most schools, and I was accepted to NYU this morning!
GPA: 3.8-3.9
LSAT: 164-167
Solid softs
Good luck to everyone!
this might be a stupid question but that turnaround time is amazing so I had to ask....how "solid is solid" like above average...extraordinary?
Yes from my knowledge if for everyone URM that has been admitted to that date. And yes there will be another one.Harvette wrote:Hey guys... Anyone knows if all URM admits are automatically invited to the diversity week end at ucla? Will there be one next year?
Congrats!!! Do you mind sharing your stats and when you applie?YungJedi wrote:Hello all,
I've been browsing through this site for years and this is my first time posting, so I'm happy to be joining you guys. I got my first acceptance from GULC today. I'm trying to figure out how one goes about securing merit aid, though. If Gtown was going to offer me merit aid, would they have let me know in the letter that I received today? If not, what are the steps that I should take to obtain scholarships? Do I have to resign myself to just waiting some more??
Any and all feedback will be much appreciated. Thanks and happy holidays, everyone!

Quoting for posterity, and to say I told you so. Black applicants overall are down 3.5% and male applicants overall are down as well.YungJedi wrote:This seems a bit overshot.
