Did any other URMs apply ED to NYU and get deferred? I am sad because the prospects for deferred applicants look bleak. Would love to go to NYU but now am waiting to get any acceptance at all. ugh

I was accepted to NYU ED. (164, 3.5 MA) Did you have relevant work experience? / Good recs/essays?

hm, i thought so.... 166 PR 3.7. Pretty decent softs, i thought anyway? I just hope I still have a shot in April. Would love Columbia, Penn, Cornell, Harvard (obviously reach REACH). would love to get one acceptance soon, the wait is killer!
