Haven't seen Spivey's data but I wouldn't be surprised if it were.

Hate that URMS apps are down because we are seriously underrepresented in the profession but I like that us being down may slightly increase my odds.hammy393 wrote:uhwrestler wrote:the data showed aa applicants were downbrinicolec wrote:uhwrestler wrote:brinicolec wrote:Are you basing that on this thread or have you seen some data?uhwrestler wrote:does it seem like urm's are down this year especially aa's?

That is what I was going to say. Better odds for us. Lower scores as well increase the chances.brinicolec wrote:Hate that URMS apps are down because we are seriously underrepresented in the profession but I like that us being down may slightly increase my odds.hammy393 wrote:uhwrestler wrote:the data showed aa applicants were downbrinicolec wrote:uhwrestler wrote:brinicolec wrote:Are you basing that on this thread or have you seen some data?uhwrestler wrote:does it seem like urm's are down this year especially aa's?

Anybody getting more fee waivers after Dec LSAT? I got Cornell, Georgetown today and a bunch of randoms today, I previously got Chicago and UVA.
Also a theory: if you have certain schools on your LSAC list, then you won't get fee waivers from them? I deleted Columbia and NYU hoping that they would send out fee waivers as a result, any thoughts on this strategy?

Having schools on the list doesn't matter. Hell, having partially-completed apps doesn't matter. I got unsolicited waivers from most t14s.lawschool2017712 wrote:I don't think it matters. I've had the entire t14 on my LSAC list since June/July and it didn't impact getting unsolicited waivers from t14 minus YHS.latif wrote:Anybody getting more fee waivers after Dec LSAT? Also, I randomly got a UMD waiver today, though I think I also got one before. I didn't retake in December though so I'm not sure why I got it lol

I got several today as well... Cornell, Georgetown, Emory, BU, UNC, WUSTL, Duke, U Chicago, UVA (silent), and Northwestern (silent). My LSAT was disappointing so I am hoping this is a sign of desperation that will work in my favor.latif wrote:Anybody getting more fee waivers after Dec LSAT?
