now here's the tough question, what would it take for you to turn down H?
That really depends on how scholly offers play out, as well as my SO's job search. I'll PM you specifics.

Also thank you to everyone who congratulated me. I appreciate all the love and support ITT!

You are not late. Trust me, even February applications will be pretty competitive this year. Relax.

Yeah, relax! This is an ideal cycle to be applying late

So this cycle is supposed to be even less competitive than previous cycles? I can't imagine medians dropping anymore. In the T14, net change in 25/50/75 LSAT was on a whole positive last cycle.

I think he meant that if you look at the T14 schools those 25/50/75 numbers experienced a net gain. More schools raised or held their numbers than dropped.

All I was saying is that the cycle might be more forgiving to late apps. Totally unsubstantiated though

And my goal is Jan 1. I just need to stick with a draft of my personal statement that I can live with -- was this a painful process for anyone else? I really hate these things.

PS/DS was definitely the hardest part for me. LSAT was the most time consuming, but it was hard for me to settle on what personal aspects I wanted to share

Don't think it's unsubstantiated: There's been another significant drop in applications and LSATs administered. It's not unreasonable to assume that this will slow the cycle down. Plus there's already preliminary indications that schools are approaching this cycle cautiously, namely, Harvard's relatively late initial acceptances.

Last cycle many schools extended their deadlines (ostensibly due to weather cancellations, which was probably just a convenient excuse to get their applications up). Don't be surprised if it happens again.

Eta, congrats LC. Surprised they didnt WL out of insecurity

LC, do you think you can give me a couple of your LSAT points? You could spare a couple and I could use a couple. Thanks!

Congrats!
