Yeah it's crazy. Only 2 ppl scored above the 90 percentile & 5 above the 80 percentile.mandyjay11 wrote:alpwilliams wrote:Looking at my CAS report the majority of LSAT takers from my school scored in the 0-19 percentile. Would this boost my application any if my score is higher than that?

Every school has a low median, unless you went ivy where people actually care. This was a discussion yesterday in one of the forums. My schools median is 143 and its a public university. Pretty crazyalpwilliams wrote:Looking at my CAS report the majority of LSAT takers from my school scored in the 0-19 percentile. Would this boost my application any if my score is higher than that?

Status check updates. I was stuck at complete on the majority of my apps for a while.mandyjay11 wrote:What kind of movement ?okaygo wrote:Finally seeing movement on my applications. Anyone else feel like this cycle is moving slow?

Yes, but they apparently love sitting on most URM applicants.okaygo wrote:Finally seeing movement on my applications. Anyone else feel like this cycle is moving slow?
No status checker updates for Michigan, Penn, Duke and Columbia for me. UVA may have burned my files. Not a damn peep since late October.

I gotta give props to NYU though. The same day I went complete was the same day I went UR. I sent that app in with a prayer and three Hail Marys.
Chi, Cornell, USC, W&M are still waiting for my Dec score.

And for me Penn has been silent.
In at Duke
God know what's happening in Charlottesville
NYU hasn't moved since complete/UR
USC is on UR2
Cornell is on their second date
And held at W&M

Oh, and GW is ignoring me.

I think I'm going to continue to ride out W&M. I can't lie I'm a little surprised. Like, my numbers aren't high enough for YP so I guess they just don't like me. Honestly though it has me super paranoid about everywhere else.

W&M Holds everyone, lets in people who they are somewhat certain will attend, for the most part almost everyone gets held until they have a better idea of what the class looks like.

I highly doubt Duke is a fluke. They seen how awesome you were and snatched you up so that says a lot about you. I was held at W&M too.okaygo wrote:What if Duke was a fluke?! In at GW, NYU, and UC Berkeley this week! Columbia contacted me about submitting my fall grades before they continue their review, and I just went under review for Duke. Guess they're squeezing in a lot of work with the holidays coming up next week...
