This made me chuckle. Thank you Gohan!!!! This actually is my eighth acceptance, so I don't know if the Gr8 was purposely spelled that way or if not. If it was, kudos to you for knowing!Futuregohan14 wrote:wowapplelover wrote:Good day!

Does anyone feel the cycle was harsh last cycle. I cant help but worry because these two profiles i ran across, seem as if they took the December LSAT and they were waitlist/reject everywhere

Considering their GPAs, their cycles really don't surprise me. They probably should have retaken.KingJamesLBJ wrote:Does anyone feel the cycle was harsh last cycle. Everyone preaches in here how 3.0+ and 160+ is a sure shot at a t14 for AA's

I think everyone preaches that you have a shot, but softs are very important for URMs. Remember, these schools want strong students regardless of race. It's possible these people had very weak applications in addition to these numbers.KingJamesLBJ wrote:Kool-Aid wrote:Considering their GPAs, their cycles really don't surprise me. I'm also concerned with the dates of Mene's decisions ..... like how will I do SEO if I dont get accepted to a top school until like July?

Kmillz was/is psib337 on here. She is still active on the forums. You can always PM her with questions on if her application cycle had any anomalies not readily apparent on LSN, like C&F issues.KingJamesLBJ wrote:Does anyone feel the cycle was harsh last cycle. This just goes to show how unpredictable the URM cycle is. Besides which, LSN doesn't capture the whole picture.

Re: URM 2013-2014 Cycle Thread
Thanks for that. I remember reading on here how the median for AA's was 147 or something, and top 14 admits a few hundred. SO it surprises me when every school rejects a 3.0 160 because how many more AA's are there with those numbers out there?AAJD2B wrote:Kmillz was/is psib337 on here. She is still active on the forums. I think you can deposit at somewhere reputable. They have extended offers to applicants attending USC, Texas, Vandy and UCLA. I think if you happen to land a school right outside T14 you still have a shot at SEO. Many SEO scholars ride the waitlist throughout the summer, and like Luisa said yesterday, they anticipate such occurrence.mandyjay11 wrote:KingJamesLBJ wrote:I know, i didnt understand either.Nova wrote:Menes only applied to GULCKingJamesLBJ wrote:

I wonder if Kmillz major hurt her. For Menes, his numbers aren't high by any means so he may have had C&F issues that held him back.KingJamesLBJ wrote:Does anyone feel the cycle was harsh last cycle.
