Does anyone feel the cycle was harsh last cycle. I cant help but worry because these two profiles i ran across, seem as if they took the December LSAT and they were waitlist/reject everywhere

I think everyone preaches that you have a shot, but softs are very important for URMs. Remember, these schools want strong students regardless of race. It's possible these people had very weak applications in addition to these numbers.

Kmillz was/is psib337 on here. She is still active on the forums. You can always PM her with questions on if her application cycle had any anomalies not readily apparent on LSN, like C&F issues.

This just goes to show how unpredictable the URM cycle is. Besides which, LSN doesn't capture the whole picture.

Thanks for that. I remember reading on here how the median for AA's was 147 or something, and top 14 admits a few hundred. SO it surprises me when every school rejects a 3.0 160 because how many more AA's are there with those numbers out there?

I think you can deposit at somewhere reputable. They have extended offers to applicants attending USC, Texas, Vandy and UCLA. I think if you happen to land a school right outside T14 you still have a shot at SEO. Many SEO scholars ride the waitlist throughout the summer, and like Luisa said yesterday, they anticipate such occurrence.

I wonder if Kmillz major hurt her. For Menes, his numbers aren't high by any means so he may have had C&F issues that held him back.
