I didn't ask on the call, but he said they would send a formal acceptance letter on Monday. I'll assume more details will come then.Mr_Chukes wrote:Congraduations that was so fast lol. Re: URM 2016-2017 Cycle Thread
That really depends on the school itself, at least it does for undergrad. I know LSAC said that you couldn't switch application types once you picked one, but the individual school itself might be able to go back and change your app type within their system. However I would just hold out - you said in a previous post your apps were submitted like, a month ago? Most places say 8-12 weeks as a guideline. Just because some people hear back early doesn't mean that you aren't in a good/neutral place. This cycle has been weird from what I can tell overall.lawschool2017712 wrote:Slowly starting to think it might have been a safer bet to ED somewhere![]()
If the ED deadline for X school hasn't passed and you already submitted an application RD, can you switch to ED?

I submitted a month + some days ago (for most places) and have only heard back from three schools so far. Be patient (I know it's hard).

Got a fullride to a top 25 and I'm really considering going there rather than to a higher ranked school, so that I can avoid debt. I think the only schools that can sway me would be Texas and Mich, since I have strong ties to both states, but I would need a decent scholly too.

Well at this point, unbelievably, my cycle seems pretty much closed out. Got into Stanford last Friday, Harvard on Monday, and just tonight I got the call from Yale. Incredibly grateful and in disbelief about how well this went and wish everyone else a ton of luck. Feel free to reach out if you ever have questions about applications or anything
Now I have until May to decide between Harvard and Yale. This is going to be very tough...

Haha not for being a bad school! I actually really love Stanford, but it's more about my preference for moving to the east coast and away from California where I've been my whole life and because I think Harvard and Yale would be stronger for my intended career (public policy)youngwarrior wrote:Hahah, so SLS has already been cut eh? I think it just depends on what your interest is and how likely that T25 is to get you there. Either way, congrats on the scholly!Torres1893 wrote:Got a fullride to a top 25 and I'm really considering going there rather than to a higher ranked school, so that I can avoid debt. The recruiter said that they would start sending out invitations this month. I haven't received one but that doesn't mean anything I suppose.brinicolec wrote:Have they started interviewing already?dietcoke1 wrote:has anyone been invited to interview for SEO this cycle?

I don't think I've seen any talk about interview invites on TLS yet... Maybe they're behind?azaleafire wrote:The recruiter said that they would start sending out invitations this month.
