Woaaaaah so many new people.
I wanna go to Stanford or UCB. I might be cool with NYU or Penn since two of my cuzzo's (not the law school though they went for Theatre and Business respectively) went there and still live out there. I am afraid of going to a new place with no connections?

Nice. I think I have the same fear. Starting from scratch is scary. I'm terrified of NYU.EstebanMFernandez wrote:Woaaaaah so many new people.

Yeah. It's like my ties are here, I'm comfortable here, I have a boy thing here. But I don't want to make a decision based off of, what? Staying close to my undergrad and my life here? That's dumb.

I either want Chicago, Michigan, or Georgetownokaygo wrote:So everyone here knows I'm gunning for GULC/GW.
(And by extension Cornell/UVA for scholly negotiations if I can swing GULC)
But where do you people WANT to go? Just the highest T14 you can get?

Now take this with a grain of salt because I used to live in MN, but midatlantic snow isn't that bad!EstebanMFernandez wrote:It's a difficult decision. Texas, UVA, Duke, Cornell, or Michigan (basically the lower T-14). I would love to get a T-6, but I would still pick a lower ranked school with $$$. I've also never lived in a large city, so my top choices are all in college towns.okaygo wrote:So everyone here knows I'm gunning for GULC/GW.

Oh yeah I forgot about Cali too. So you can add Berkeley to my list but its a reach with my GPA.

I'm personally for sale to the highest bidder. Lol #newslaves. But my goal is NYU, maybe Berkeley or Penn.okaygo wrote:So everyone here knows I'm gunning for GULC/GW.

If it helps anyone, I submitted 10/28 to all schools and decisions are slowly trickling in.

Boy Thing has a really good job here, so probably not. Plus he's applying for MBA programs in the area. BUT he does travel a lot on weekends to visit friends/family. So that's potentially helpful.mandyjay11 wrote:okaygo wrote:Hah. Yeaaaah. Well let's get acceptances and then we will revisit this for a plan. I think it can work though. I also think you will get GULC.okaygo wrote:

How is UC Irvine? I thought about it because I wouldn't mind California. Because LA was always my target market post graduation.EstebanMFernandez wrote:Better get some cute pea coats and scarves :3 ! all the schools I want seem to be located in frozen tundras and I've never seen snow lol @.@

Gloves. Preferably the ones where you can still use your touchscreen device with them on.EstebanMFernandez wrote:Better get some cute pea coats and scarves :3 ! all the schools I want seem to be located in frozen tundras and I've never seen snow lol @.@

And yes unlimited scarves and peacoats are a must!
