Congrats! Are any other URM folks waiting for Mich? I was a September submit and I've heard nothing. Kind of hurting my feelings.

Awesome, nice job!

Also in at Michigan by status checker today!!! Applied RD on 11/18 and went complete on 11/24, so a really impressive turnaround. Fricking awesome, I have loads of family in Michigan so...yep, even if this is my only t10 admit, it's a great one for me, super stoked about it. :P

whaddup peeps! I got the SEO invite recently. I'm not sure if I can afford to travel to NY, though, and a skype interview seems like a definite disadvantage :(

Seriously, though, it's definitely easier to make an impression in person than over a computer. given that only 10% of applicants are accepted to SEO every year, it's already an uphill battle. Showing up in person has gotta' give you an edge.

Based on what is posted on here, getting into the highest ranked school possible has more of an impact than the interview. I can't see how not being able to make it to NY for an interview would hurt. but just my thoughts.

Congratulations!! But, I'm thinking what I've bolded is pretty unlikely. More good news is coming...

What do you guys think my chances are for a Harvard acceptance? Urm, 165, 3.98 lsac converted, also strong lors and collegiate athletics. I'm just not sure and am so worried about getting an interview because I don't know what that would entail

Depends on what URM you are...if you're AA, you're 100% golden for H; if you're MA or another URM, your chances are not nearly as good.

In at Georgetown by letter dated 12/1. Status checker still stuck on application complete so they might be really behind--just a heads up in case anybody is holding their breath on them.

Went complete 11/20, didn't submit anything extra to speak of.

Edit: AA male, non trad. age, 75th percentile GPA, 25th percentile LSAT, solid WE and a few light softs, feel free to PM if any questions.

I created a spreadsheet to help keep URM info organized in one place. I can easily add more schools to the list, but started with the T14.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... li=1#gid=0

Feel free to add it to OP.
