Unbelievable I know, but yea I actually got in. And I was WLed at Penn, NYU and Columbia. I seriously outperformed my numbers, but I really wanted Chicago so I just decided to study harder and go at it again.

I appreciate the encouragement guys. I am really nervous about this damn test. I'm just really hoping I didn't make a huge mistake by not running with Michigan when I had the chance.

Grumpy.
Ventured out into the broader tls today. It's not as nice a place as here. Arguing with an ass over the nasty things he said to Twenty, who, despite the fact that I've never met him, I'm rather fond of.
I think that's what surprised me most about this thread. I like you guys. I want to help you--I want you to do well. And I don't want other people on the internets to say nasty things about you.
Makes me grumpy.

I started to argue but I just don't want to anymore. The only winning move is not to play.

yeah, I feel said when URMS make outside threads because they open themselves up to so much negativity out there. I made that mistake, never again!

So I've been told. I guess I'm not a terribly kind person myself, all things considered. I don't expect it to be all sunshine and daisies.californiauser wrote:Get ready for law school dude. Law school students are pricks.midnight_circus wrote:Grumpy.

But I am an extremely rational person. To the point that I've (wrongly) been called a sociopath. I did expect many of my future law school classmates to be the same. The law is reason free from passion and all that. So being confronted with irrational behaviors (such as people degenerating into childish name-calling for no reason at all) is still surprising and frustrating.
Agreed.Nova wrote: TBF, that guy is literally the worst.

I like you midnight.
EDIT: Why did that guy bump a three year old post instead of just creating a new one.

Though on that note, to be entirely honest, I'm kind of surprised at the immaturity of a lot of folks on TLS. Not you guys per se -- you guys are wonderful. I had roughly a year of jackassery between age 15 and 16 (which ended right about as I got my driver's license), but these people are not only college graduates, a lot of them have been working for several years in professional environments. Like, once you're an adult, you really do have to stop being 1) stupid and 2) a jackass.
Those are my only thoughts on this subject.

That is when they begin to reach their stupid, jackass, and entitled prime. That is why I try to stay in in the URMs threads and Acceptance threads. Because some people are just rude and ignorant.twentypercentmore wrote:midnight_circus wrote:Grumpy.
