I see why I was deferred at Georgetown. There is some serious AA talent this cycle. Congrats to everyone who got in already, and best of luck to those still waiting.

It looks like the "T-4" is continuing their pattern of waiting until the end to admit URM's. There have been very few people in this thread reporting an admittance to the "T-4". What the hell is this "T-6" shit? When I was in high school, I had never heard of NYU and Chicago, but I knew of Yale, Harvard, Stanford and Columbia. I love you C; do not listen to these haters on TLS; you are equally as presitigious as YHS.

I'm sure you'll be hear back from more schools soon. Any idea when GULC will release scholarship info?Noluck123 wrote:mtrrw wrote:Hey Everyone,
First time posting in this thread. AA Male 167 3.35 from top 10 liberal arts school.
So far in at: GULC, Berkeley, and UVA(20K/year)
This makes me happy for you, but sad/worried for me. I have a slightly higher GPA/LSAT and I've only heard from G-Town. Don't get me wrong, I'd be honored to attend GULC, especially if I receive a scholarship. Still...

Re: URM 2012-2013 Cycle... let's go!
Hi all. I vacillated about posting in this thread because I'm Afro-Caribbean but I think that even though I'm an international I might still be classified as a URM especially because I've been getting a lot of URM specific mailings from schools. So I suppose the debate about whether black internationals are considered URMs will rage on.
I have a 157/"Above average" (although it's a 3.7 tbh), so I guess that makes me a reverse splitter. Incredibly strong softs (you can PM me if you need to know) that I really think made a lot of difference in my apps. So far I'm in at UVA with $$, W&L and Fordham. I also got into Miami but have already withdrawn. I cannot wait to see what this completely unpredictable cycle brings next.

Of course you belong here! Congrats on your cycle's success, and I look forward to reading about more acceptances in the future.danitt wrote:Hi all. My fellow URM's:
IN AT NYU! 164, 3.5 MA. I ED'd so I will be withdrawing all my other applications.
My numbers were, I thought, an extreme reach for NYU so needless to say I'm beyond shock (I think I still haven't processed it)
Hope this gives you all hope!

Haven't heard anything about scholarships yet. But I checked off the "not applying for aid" box so I'm not expecting any (also, I ED'd). But I'll post if I get anything.blackandstrong wrote:ALEX!!!! So proud of you! Congrats! Did you get any money from NYU?alex.feuerman wrote:My fellow URM's:

This.Wormfather wrote:Ummm, you have more apps to send out. Yale, Stanford, CCN, the entire T14 to be honest. Just trust us.read2465 wrote:I haven't posted in the URM section before, but have appreciated everything I've read through and just wanted to check in. I submitted apps to Michigan, Virginia, Penn, Chicago and Harvard (longest shot in the world, hah!) this week, and I'm worried that I'm a little too late in the game for serious consideration and $$, but we'll see.
I applied early to UT and am in there, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for my other apps, late as they may be. MA Female, 166+ 3.75ish. My numbers are fudged, obviously.

Long time lurker. Finally checking in. Super nervous about this cycle. 166ish, 3.6+, Puerto Rican. I've thrown in apps to NYU, Columbia, Penn, UVA, Chicago, Georgetown. Not sure if I have a shot at any. Thinking about potentially putting in a few more? Good luck everyone!

Look higher than those schools. I think Harvard and Stanford are in play for you.jsjd1989 wrote:Long time lurker. Finally checking in. Super nervous about this cycle. 166ish, 3.6+, Puerto Rican.
