Is there anyone else in this thread that applied in early to mid October and has not heard back from anywhere yet?

Any school in particular? I've heard from three out of nine.

I applied then and haven't hearted back from Penn, Columbia, Harvard, and Stanford.

Yeah I thought I was gonna hear from Cornell two weeks ago. I had my status update twice than nothing...

Someone recently informed me that my numbers were very high and that this year Cornell is admitting the people with high stats later on and the ones who are around the medians early on, which is different from past cycles.

I was skeptical of it his reasoning too until I looked at LSN and saw that most people who would be auto admits Hadn't been accepted yet, even some who submitted in September.

Maybe they're assuming people with T6 numbers will withdraw before Cornell gives them a decision -- could be acceptance % gaming

I want to do biglaw but prbly for no longer than 4 yrs. Eventually I would love to end up in house counsel at some tech company in SoCal or the Bay area.
