For the guys out there, has anyone read the policy that they don't want us to have facial hair? I have a beard, and I'm reluctant to cutting it off, but obviously I'm not going to give up this opportunity to keep it!

Any insight?

This is about the time we got the first notification yesterday, I will probably be checking my email every 15 mins for the rest of the day.

Today was the deposit upload deadline so I'd imagine there will be a big wave of decisions later this week since they've probably already decided who's going where and were just waiting on a final confirmation of eligibility

Friendly reminder to everyone who's been accepted since it doesn't say it on either of my emails: be sure to send in official transcripts to SEO directly from your registrar's office. There's mailing information on the SEO website in the "Academic Performance Policy" section of the "SEO Interns" site.

I was looking at the Intern Calendar for the training dates and it says that training begins on May 23rd. This was the start date listed in my email too. But on the "In Person Training" section of the website, it mentions an orientation and training on May 21-22. So....does anyone know when the program actually starts?

Might be for other SEO programs? (banking, etc). I sent an email asking for dates both before I was accepted and after (because the original acceptance email didn't have a date), and they have all said May 23rd.

I'm getting super anxious because if I am fortunate enough to get the opportunity I would like to have a decent amount of time to pack up my house to move, as well as give my job the courtesy of at least two weeks to find someone else.

I really am anxious too. At first, I didn't know a lot about the program and now I wish I would have known about it sooner! I learned a lot about law firms close to my home area, and even that one had an Indian Law department. That would be my dream job! It is a really quick choice if I were to be selected now, but I would kill to be placed at that firm. Through all this crazy law school process, reading about this firm seemed like the only thing that finally made sense! Lol

I know it might be hard to say this but can someone who didn't get accepted be brave and let us know when you were denied? How were you notified? When did you submit your deposit and to what school? What was your 1st choice location?
If it happens to me, I'll make sure to do it for you guys. Thanks
