Calm down. URM cycles are generally known to take a long time. Just sit back and chill brah. Get into some new hobbies, have more sex, do something to calm the neuroticism.

I asked KB if URM cycles take longer or if adcoms focus on nonURMs first. She responded with this:

Most schools operate on a rolling basis so applications are read and decisions made as the applications become complete. In my years in admissions, I have noticed that many URM applicants are not applying as early as non-URM applicants, so this may contribute to the phenomenon you see emerging. I have never seen or known of any school that focuses on non-URM admissions before looking at URM candidates.

I submitted my app to a few schools only to realize an error that I thought I had fixed. I immediately sent the schools the correct version, but they said they could only attach it to my file, not replace the essay itself. I'm sad now.

The bad news is that one of the schools is my dream school, but the good news (??) is that I caught it before sending my other apps. blahhh

Has anyone heard back from WUSTL? I was checking out LSN and it appears that no URMs on that site have received decisions yet. I thought that was curious, so I thought I'd ask on this thread.
