Thanks, Everyone!!!!!!!

CC: I don't know. I REALLY like Penn. But I had about a million phone calls from distant relatives saying I shouldn't even consider another school. I'm going to visit and then decide.

Me too...but that was a looooooong time ago. I'm clearly the only true old head here.
Flokk is older too, no?

I graduated UG at 21...just the way my birthday rolls.
Almost 32. Would say you guys are crazy young but tbh I'm just that far above median. There's an upside to it, but in the larger scheme of things you guys will enjoy more practice years for in some cases a similar debt load. Enjoy every minute of it.
Flokk!!!! I just saw that long list in the results thread. Congrats! You're interested in Penn? Were you there this past weekend? What do you think?

Yeah add me to the distant Dini relatives. I appreciate what you're saying, and no one loves Penn more than I, but come on, Dini!

Looking at this cycle (and the spreadsheet) has me really questioning the "black by the numbers" thread. I've always believed it, and I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be right, but it looks like we have at least 11 AAs with scores at/over 167 on the spreadsheet. I highly doubt only 20 AA scored that high in total =\
Personally, I think that the 'black by the numbers' post is pretty spot on. These past couple of years have definitely experienced an increase in high-scoring AA's, but I think the admissions chances are still very consistent with what we've seen in the past.
That's the thing though. I also feel like the last few years have seen a definite increase in high scoring AAs, but that thread suggests that the opposite is happening.
I mean, if you look at LSAC's data, it doesn't seem like the overall numbers have changed. I think that an AA male with a 168 or higher is probably going to grab H more often than not, assuming GPA of 3.4 or higher and a solid PS.

Definitely ^

TLS and LSN are going to be a pretty select sample of AA test takers that's not representative of all applicants
