I feel you. Mine's especially annoyed that I check the mail everyday in the hopes of hearing from Georgetown....

Well I got a couple of fee waivers through the LSAC forum. That helped a lot. I'm considering taking the Feb test along with the Jan test. Is there any possible way I can submit apps after the Dec test and update my app with the Feb score?

Yes. You can do that. Tho many schools may put your file “on hold” until the results come in

Is anyone attending the National Black & Hispanic Pre-Law Conference in NYC? I've been getting bombarded with emails and haven't decided whether or not it would be worth making the trip to NYC

Might not have to. just call them and ask the procedure. if they do it already, cool. If they don't, ask them to put a hold on your file until the score comes in

I went last year, they have some pretty good workshops and have a lot of one on one attention time if you want someone to read a document of yours or have specific questions. They also hooked me up with a lot of resources, I have a book with over 200 personal statements and resumes all from black applicants and they also gave another book on extensive tips to success during your first year of law school. I enjoyed it but I mostly just used it as an opportunity to visit NY schools because I had never visited before (NYU, Columbia). It mostly depends on where you are in the process if it will be useful or not.

Wow, you’re done before November. Nice job!!! I can’t wait to be at that point in the process. Though, it won’t be until January for me

It's going to come super fast. Just make sure you're staying on top of all the documents and information you need to gather

This is why I come to this sub-board. Had no idea of this event, am located in NYC, AND I'm applying next cycle.

Thanks! I was planning on going to talk more with the SEO folks. I just submitted my app and don't know if getting some face time with them would help

I'm not. Retaking the LSAT first before I make one.
I'll PM those who want to know my LSN though, just to keep it off of the threads so it's not linked to me publicly here. Not that I've done of a good job at keeping anonymity anyways, but still haha.
