Would love to get a new poll going...
Options:
Summer plans?
April ASW plans?
Any other ideas?

Perhaps still too early, but something along the lines of how many schools have you narrowed it down to:lc39 wrote:Would love to get a new poll going...

- 1 - DEPOSITED!
- 1 - Not yet deposited for x reason
- 2 - Waiting for financial aid
- 2 - Just can't decide!
- 3 - Closer than I was before...
- 4+ It's too early yet
- 0 - Going for 15-16 cycle
Then people can add their explanation in comments if they want.
Otherwise, I like the April ASW and summer plans ideas.

I've narrowed it down to one, but still have two apps pending, so I am waiting until I see those offers before I deposit.

I'm one of the deposits. I'm not ED. I wanted UT, got UT...UT for free ain't too shabby. I wanted to deposit as early as possible for the slight chance that I might get an SEO decision any sooner so my wife and kids don't end up in limbo waiting on me.jemthey17 wrote:Edit: Never mind. Got into NYU today.
Cycle so far:
Admission
NYU
Berkeley
Cornell
Waitlist

Unheard

Good news, and it makes me dread re-applying next cycle... but for now I'll just focus on my good fortune.

I feel the same way about reapplying. I feel like I've had a great cycle, but personal life changes may force me to reapply, and I'm sooo scared I won't have the same options next year =/Oskosh wrote:Got into NYU today.

Re: URM 2014-2015 Cycle Thread
Agreed! Especially since I'm retaking the LSAT, and there's this unfounded fear that I'll do worse on it! But as I've stated, my cycle is not over, so I'll begin really to worry about that in April. Best of luck with what you decide to do!180kickflip wrote:I feel the same way about reapplying. Re: URM 2014-2015 Cycle Thread
Yeah. I'm weighing a June retake, but with limited time to get back up to speed, I'm not really confident I'll improve. I'm also not really interested in any administrations beyond June because the only real benefit of reapplying would be applying early with an improved score. Same as you, I still have a lot of schools up in the air, so we'll see.
