For those who follow our dearly departed members, LSATNeurotic got into Yale on Sunday. Did other folks know this?

I'd say go on a celebratory bender but you need to take care of that brain.

Yes, I think anyone admitted to H who's not already deposited needs to withdraw now so Convoy can get his JS2.

This UVA email sounds quite a bit like the UMich, "hang in there...we don't like you, but don't leave just yet" thing they set in early January.
If someone wouldn't mind sharing, I'd love to read the UVA email. Anyone want to PM me? Anyone?
E: and Done! Yayyy team! I appreciate it

Can we do a new poll? How about home town regions? Or is that too personal/outing? South, New England, Midwest, Rocky Mountain, West, Northwest, etc.
Orrr something else?

Yes! I think they should just be comfortable having a "Hold" category, like HLS. That's what this means, you're being held until they have a more complete sense of their applicant pool. Then they will decide. Folks wouldn't be happy, but at least it wouldn't be this random rushed looking thing. Sorry folks who are in this boat with UVA. I know I did not appreciate it from Michiganballcaps wrote:

Congrats to all the new admits, I've been MIA because I have no new news, still waiting to hear from 11 of the 12 schools I applied to (wait listed at my top choice
)
Has anyone done the Georgetown Group interview? If yes, please PM me some tips/insight. Thanks

Let's comfort each other. I applied to twelve as well and have only heard back from one.sashafierce wrote:Congrats to all the new admits, I've been MIA because I have no new news, still waiting to hear from 11 of the 12 schools I applied to (wait listed at my top choice)

@Yaaaas2013, we should! The anxiety is killing me, to add to my pain I'm also waiting to hear back from several recruitment firms so I'm constantly hoping/praying/begging for a call or email. FML!

Re: URM 2014-2015 Cycle Thread
Dini suggested "factors going into our decision" (location, finances, partner, size, specific program, employment stats, etc.) and I posted asking for feedback on that but I think we all understandably got caught up in the Yale excitement.Tr3 wrote:Can we do a new poll? Orrr something else?
But if the region poll thing is more popular we could do that first?
