Did anyone else get a follow up interview request from SEO?

yea, did you also have two people in your first interview?

Naw I didn't but I did feel like my interview was a little more difficult than what the threads had said.

my orginal interview was very short like 10 minutes and not one of my best days so I definitely need a chance to redeem myself

+1 lol freaking out a little less now that I see others got it too. Maybe it's because she's new and would like to just interview a lot herself to get the feel for things/people/have a say in who get admitted?

The email has phrases like "follow up interview by phone" and "The phone interview." I would think phone instead of Skype, right?

I'm freaking out. I hope this isn't a similar situation to a certain t14 that interviewed me, asked for any updates/additional info a few weeks later, then waitlisted me I think maybe this is because I was too focused on my PI background, and didn't discuss why corporate law enough

Happened to me multiple times. Try to use your phone, or some other device. I accidentally scheduled for 3. I think too many of us are trying to sign up

Any idea about whether you are less likely to be placed at a firm you were a paralegal in?

My understanding is that the firm chooses you, not that you are assigned a firm, so I imagine it makes you more appealing to that firm.

This is going to sound really obnoxious but I felt pretty good about my chances after getting into t6s, and was a little taken aback by the second interview. Are most of the others with second interviews in/planning on matriculating at top schools?

I'm 99.9% sure that a follow up interview is a good sign. New director = wants to get to know us better and demonstrate her commitment

I thought you had to be in a tier 1 school to get in... My best guess is that they've been interviewing people for months and want to look at us all again in a short time period to decide.

I am. I wouldn't look too deep into this. Now that I'm thinking about it, it's likely that the new director wants to vet everyone who "passed" the first interview. Pretty sure this is a good sign. I'm sure she wouldn't waste her time on anyone the first director didn't like.

Thoughts:
1. Submitted once and didn't get a confirmation email. I think someone may have chosen my time between me choosing it and submitting.
2. Email says phone interview so I chose the phone option but was still required to put a Skype name.
