this is related to the law school application process because sometimes us applicants have to read bitches at ASWs... and because ru paul's laugh is beyond words.

A thread that was in the Class of 2013 forum that got moved to the lounge and then a lot of people got really upset and either did, or threatened to, leave TLS.f0bolous wrote:What's the TTC freakout?D-hops wrote:This made me think of what the GLBT version of the TTC freakout would look like. MAJOR concern of mine!!! Also anyone know how Southern Decadence in New Orleans compares to Gay Days in Orlando?MSPeast wrote:Wow. I didn't really pay much attention to the TTC but that turned into a giant "who cares?" brawl when that thing got moved.
Anyway, in a half-serious attempt to sort of stay on the law school subject, do you think I can request "no homophobes" on my housing app? I'm sure that's hard to implement though. I better not be put with a homophobic roommate at any rate.

I'm more worried about getting a ugly or fat roommate than a homophobic one. I'm fatphobic. Both fat and homophobic and you fail life

Interesting choice of words....agathon360 wrote: The scene? Got boring? Is that possible? God, if I added up all the hours I've spent cruising since I graduated college, I think it would amount to years. I mean, I see in theory how it could (and should) get boring; but in practice I keep getting sucked back in.

I'm excited I get to go to both this year! I've been trying to go to southern decadence for a while but since I'm moving from Florida to Louisiana this summer I'll finally have the opportunity.Cupidity wrote:Fewer people, but the bear to anything better than a bear ratio is much better.Cestjustemoi wrote:MAJOR concern of mine!!! age isn't so important (so long as you're under 35). a nice, fit body is much more important (along with the rest of the umm... package)

I love how this roommate conversation went from "no homophobes" to "someone who I would like to sleep with"

As a practical matter, who is planning on having a roommate in law school?? Aren't roommates like for first year undergraduates? I was planning on renting a studio (I really prefer living alone). Is no one else thinking this way?
