I hate this soap opera feel of Scandal. I used to like the show because it seemed somewhat realistic... now it's just.... one supposed shock after another

Really? I love it! But, I'm a Grey's Anatomy fan as well, so I'm used to Shonda's roller coaster. I think this was one of the better episodes of this season.toshiroh wrote:I hate this soap opera feel of Scandal. I'm watching it now. It's definitely not as good as the first season, but it's still not bad.okaygo wrote:Really? I love it! It's just getting a little cliche--everyone is related to each other and everything is a conspiracy.

Right, but if there was no conspiracy than there would be no entertainment value. The name of the show IS Scandal.

I love scandal. I'll find some way to watch it in law school. I agree that it has become more soap opera like, but it's still entertaining and Shonda knows that to do to keep viewers coming back, like the fact Fitz dad got Millie pregnant or that mama Pope lives. No one was expecting either of those when the episode started and for that I commend the show's writers.

Well, that's not good writing in my opinion. It shouldn't take all that to create entertainment value. I'm familliar with Shonda's over the top writing, but this is getting very "Days of our lives".applelover wrote:I love scandal. I'll find some way to watch it in law school. Might also be good to list Northwestern to prove you're legitimately considering interested in going to school in Chicago.applelover wrote:mandyjay11 wrote:guys, chicago's app asks what other schools we are applying to... are you listing them all?
