I feel your pain. I was assigned a partner who started his own shop and used to work for a V20 firmAAJD2B wrote:So Northwestern finally assigned an interviewer for me, only it's with a freaking PARTNER at a V50 who specializes in the type of work I do in-house. This is like OCI and I'm not even in law school!!

Michigan law just had one of their black students email me. I just don't feel like writing another supplemental essay. I'm already swamped with my coursework.

Just got that same email... what essay do they want? Why Mich? ummm mac and cheese obviously.
Maybe I should email her back and ask how she feels about mac and cheese being the sole highlight of her organization in their admissions brochures

They have some supplemental questions that they offer you the opportunity to write essays for.

I, admittedly, studied all the way up to the morning of the LSAT. But I'm also the type of person who will go insane if I'm not doing some kind of work on what I have coming up.toshiroh wrote:Should I stop studying two days before the LSAT or the day before..... I'm leaning towards two...

Re: URM 2013-2014 Cycle Thread
I always need a little break to let it digest. on the 5th I might just do some very light studying and drilling. Prob 2 logic games, and a few LR questions. And absolutely nothing on the day before. Probably sit back, have a glass of wine.MoMettaMonk wrote:I, admittedly, studied all the way up to the morning of the LSAT. Not a bad plan, looking back I think that burnout might've cost me a point or two (I also might have totally forgotten how to do a logic game if I took 2 days off, predicting alternate timelines is always difficult for me).toshiroh wrote:I always need a little break to let it digest. on the 5th I might just do some very light studying and drilling. I golfed the two days before the LSAT with no studying, ended up with my 2nd highest score ever.toshiroh wrote:Should I stop studying two days before the LSAT or the day before..... I'm leaning towards two...
I'd advise chilling out the two days before. You aren't going to learn or solidify anything new 48 hours before the test.

LR2 in PT 61 killed me. It seemed to be a bit more on the difficult side.

All of my applications are at 100% completed. And I'm just sitting here staring at them. Too afraid to submit them.

Do it! Also, congrats on getting them done.
I'm taking forever because I was sure I'd be applying after December's score came out.

Question though (to everyone, I suppose). Is there anywhere that you can see whether you're applying ED or RD? I just want to double check that before I hit submit.

When you proofread your app, you should see something where you said whether or not you were applying ed.
