Do we get any say in the firm we get? Do we rank at all?

In your interview they usually ask you what firm you want to work at and why.

I didn't get asked anything about firms in mine. Which was a little annoying because I probably spent most of my time studying on researching firms lol.

My interview had a lot of time wasted on the interviewer's Internet problems, so we didn't get to discuss much. Now that I'm thinking about it, I might not even get in based on how choppy the whole thing was. Boo.

Just got a follow up interview request. It's only 15 mins, so I am hoping it's about not being able to place me in my preferred market, and not about being a boarderline candidate.

Got the same. I wonder what it's going to be about. Also whether or not it's skype or regular phone interview.

I did not. New York wasn't one of my preferences at all, but I deposited for a NY school.

And for those asking, I emailed my interviewer to ask if it was skype or a phone call follow up.

All these interview requests are making me a tad nervous. If it is for borderline applicants, this could mean I am either solidly in or out. I did not request NYC nor did I deposit at an east coast school, so that could be another factor to consider, and maybe I'll get asked later on. Please people, keep us posted!

NYC was my first preference as well. Though I am unsure why that would matter considering the majority of the firms are in NYC.

I don't think so but they're doing them on Fridays. I think it's best to do this Friday but they had next Friday open.

I wouldn't say that at all. I think they're staggering the interview requests because people were getting second interview requests last week. Plus the first round of interviews were so overloaded I think they felt it best to stagger notifications.

Anyone else notice that there are multiple interview duration options when in the appointment making system for Law follow up? Were people given different interview duration times? The email I received specifically mentioned 15 minutes.

Yeah, the fact that some people that wanted NYC are being asked to interview may suggest that it's not all bad news for the rest of us. Does anyone know when the last of the decisions, whether good or bad, will be released? I just want to get this over with.

Edit: Also how long after sending in your deposit can you expect to get a decision.
