Yeah if I do decide to retake I'll be retaking in February or June. I'm going to apply this cycle anyway (fee waiver so all my applications are free) and I don't really care about scholarships because I'm going to school for free anyway (thanks G.I. Bill.) According to LSN there was a AA Male who got into UT with a 2.6 155 last cycle. I've got better stats then that in addition to being a vet and applications being even further down this year. If I get in somewhere I want, then I'll go. If not I'll just hang out and retake. Thanks for the advice!MTH2 wrote:Retake. If you could manage to score 7+ points higher, you're looking at at least a few T-14s and probably scholly. Law School is always going to be there, however, the school you attend has major implications as to how much you make and where you end up working. I suppose the question you should be asking yourself is - is waiting another cycle to retake and reapply worth foregoing attending this year and the probability of schools you will be accepted into this cycle?FairchildFLT wrote:I got my LSAT score today. AA male, veteran, with a LSAT of 155 and a 3.41 GPA. This will be a nerve-wracking cycle.

Looks like according to LSAC, test takers were down 8.1% for the September test. Good luck everyone!

lets hope the medians keep on dropping and they get even extra generous with schollys for a urm who can raise a median

Unfortunately the median drop seems to be largely over at T14 schools. GULC LSAT dropped a point, but Columbia and Stanford gained 1 and everybody else held. For GPA, Harvard dropped .01 and UVA dropped .02 but everyone else held last year's median (UChi, Penn, Duke, Northwestern) or raised it (Yale, Stanford, Columbia, NYU, Cal, Mich, Cornell, GULC).canadianbrother wrote:^ woohoo

I do hope they get more generous though to maintain/raise those medians

^ Well less people people took the lsat year as well, so theyre definitely was a smaller number of high lsat scorers. And remember, schools can manipulate how they get to their medians, for instance, taking a splitter and a reverse splitter doesn't hurt their medians and i feel like theyve had to resort to that. From what i've seen, splitters have been doing better in recent cycles.

Haha I think he is talking about mine.
But it's LC39. Not ic39. Although I am a big fan of cat's cradle.

Congrats to you guys who've already heard back!
I'll be submitting after the December LSAT (will be my first score). Praying for YHS but going to blanket the T14 and see what happens, sending good vibes out to you all.

Calm down. URM cycles are generally known to take a long time. Just sit back and chill brah. Get into some new hobbies, have more sex, do something to calm the neuroticism.jw316 wrote:Hoping I'm not too late the party.
