Odds are yes. It's worth applying and then before you sign-up, verify with someone from CLEO.iamlife1001 wrote:so do you get a scholarship out of this thing or not????

If you are taking the LSAT good luck and remember everything is in Gods hands, just have faith and know you have done the best you can and he will do the rest!

edit: --LinkRemoved--
sounds like if you are from a low-income family, a minority, or from an economically or otherwise disadvantaged background then it's guaranteed.

What kind of response? Was it an acceptance response or was it a letter verify that your information has been received?

If we get accepted, do they assign us the school or can we choose? They are kinda equal in terms of desirability, right? Anybody have comments on either school or location?

Desirability? Carbondale, IL VS. Pittsburgh, PA
Thats a tough one.
Carbondale is practically the Ozarks and the nearest decent-sized city is St.Louis, which is 100 miles away.

Re: CLEO 2009
Yeah...It looks like it going to be at those two locations. I would perfer to be at U Pitts. I am not that picky - as long as I receive an acceptance letter, that's all that matters to me!

Re: CLEO 2009
I applied to CLEO 2009. I received a letter in the mail about a month ago confirming they received my application. I went to Achieving Success in the Application Process (ASAP) in July 2008 and learned alot about the admissions/application process. I think they provide a great academic support network for URMs, not to mention the fellows stipend every year!
Did anyone else notice they haven't updated http://www.cleoscholars.org with dates yet!?

I've been told it's a rolling admissions process. I'm thinking we'll know by January/February.araiza99 wrote:Does anyone know when CLEO starts sending out letters admitting students?
