I'm looking at Columbia and NYU as well.

Those are my top schools. Good luck!

Aiming for HYS, fingers crossed!
Nice! Good luck. Do you mind if I ask what your LSAT/GPA was. Approximately? Aiming for the same schools myself.
They're in my profile but I'm 174/4.1. Good luck to you, too!
Have fun at whichever you choose LOL

Been working on my PS for about a month now and I hate every single word I've written.

I have every other part of my application done except for the PS and the Yale 250.

Hi all and good luck this cycle! AA female, can post stats if anyone wants them. My apps will be sent in Oct.
I have been prepping for the LSAT since late Feb, gearing up to take the test in Sep (and possibly again in Dec depending on the score). Absolutely terrified but hoping to score north of 160.

Got my LoRs in motion at least...
Transcript requests have been sent. All transcripts have been received by LSAC except one that I intentionally am holding off on because it's not yet complete.
Want to start my PS/DS but not sure where I want to start/what I want to write about.
Resume is ... possibly done. Not sure though.

I've started on everything, I think I'm just about done with my PS. Unfortunately I just got done teaching and competing in a pageant so LSAT studying for September has been...a bit lackluster lol. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't have to retake in Dec.

I've started writing my PS and I allowed at least 6 people to read it for feed back. So far, very positive responses across the board. I am almost done with it but transcripts, and LOR are completed. I started my prep class with Blueprint this past Saturday. I wrote out my schedule to study and I'll at least be studying 35hours a week, not including the classes. But chance are high I'll be studying 45 hours a week outside of class. I'm not trying to retake this test in December .

Save a few edits on my resume and PS, everything is done. All that is left is this test, which is going to determine which apps may have to be dropped.

Yes. Looking at the two previous cycles is making me a bit more hopeful about my chances at certain top14s. But I don't want to get my hopes up too much.
Your avi is killing me, btw lol.

I've been looking but I, like you, don't want to get too excited because I know it's a self-reported sample so there's probably error (though people that lie about where they get accepted to mess up the stats are assholes).
& lol Joanne the Scammer gives me life.

I'd really like to be able to do a JD/MPP at Harvard with the Kennedy school. I haven't done much research into how that process works but it's definitely something that I think would fit my interests

I'm very interested in doing a JD/MBA at Harvard or Stanford. I've already written the LSAT and am in the process of studying for the GMAT. I am really hoping I can replicate the success I had with the LSAT on the GMAT, only time will tell.

With your numbers you're going to get into Yale. Why not just do a Yale J.D and a Harvard M.B.A, get the best of both worlds?

Hahaha you're not the first person to suggest this to me believe it or not. In my opinion it'd be more practical to just do a dual degree at the same institution. Yale is arguably the best law school in the country but apart from what in my opinion are a few negligible differences such as : class size, Pass or Fail 1st semester grades, I don't really think it offers any advantages or opportunities that Harvard and Stanford do not. More, Harvard and Stanford definitely have more reputable business schools than Yale.

Question... is anyone else struggling to differentiate their PS from diversity? It just seems like every PS I write touches on my moving to the US because, hey, it was a pretty major life experience. So now idk whether it's even worth it to do a separate diversity statement. Any thoughts?
Same problem with ps and ds... idk what to do to be honest.
