Austin does also seem to have a pretty fun LGBT scene (if you're not convinced by the nifty name). I get notified about queer lady stuff I'm way too far away to attend quite often

Also, the LGBT group at Berkeley is Queer Caucus, not outlaw. I think the group you have linked on the main page is an undergrad organization. It's definitely not Boalt.

Checking in. I think I wrote a pretty strong diversity statement about being a lesbian...I'm planning to send it to as many schools as I can. I'm applying to all of the T-14, but schools like Michigan, NYU and Berkeley definitely get extra points for seeming queer-friendly...

Every school is as queer friendly as the other. These are all liberal institutions and there are solid amounts of gays.
