Yea what's funny is that one person went through my post history and found a post with my LSAT score and then said that since it wasn't good enough I must have had some other factors to offset it or been a high demand URM. They asked me a bunch of rhetorical questions that they then answered later in the message.

my brother is going to chicago at basically sticker ($5K/year). but he had a weird cycle and got rejected and waitlisted from a ton of schools. it was between chicago, irvine, and wisconsin for him.

yep, all except NYU and northwestern, cause he wasn't interested in those two at all.

162/3.68 He was actually super surprised he got into Chicago but didn't expect all the waitlists and rejections from the lower T-14. His cycle is making me worried, but I think it also has to do with the fact that we are MA, which I heard is also hard to predict

It is a bit more unpredictable. Still though, Chicago is an amazing outcome. Congrats for him and best of luck to you.

Since I posted about my JS 1, I have received several pms. Some were nice where people just asked my stats to figure out how the cycle is going and others where people question how on earth I got one, in attempt to make me feel like 1. I am not a qualified candidate or 2. That I only got one because I'm a urm. I will not be responding to the latter.

I thought californianauser (sp?) was planning to create it? Not sure if he said it was going to be made available before or after December results come in.

Give how folks are drinking the haterade against URMs like applelover, I think our spreadsheet should be populated on a discretionary basis with two designated persons having exclusive rights to edit. I know other spreadsheets on TLS have been tampered with when everyone gains access. Whose to say someone claiming to be a URM gains access and does similar? I dunno, just a thought. Of course, once everyone's cycle is complete, we can make the spreadsheet public.
