Yes - got it this past weekend.
Got one as well. Happy I didn't rush and pay the 100 dollar app fee...
I got it too, did it come with a waiver??
Mine did. I can only assume that yours did as well.

I received a packet too. Was it based on URM status or both numbers and URM status?
167/3.8, I doubt I have a quantitative chance.

Assuming it was both. Probably any URM at or above 165 and 3.5.

Ah, okay. Then it was just to increase their applicant pool and maybe give us some exemplars for resumes and such.

What should one expect from these events? Are these similar to job fairs or more like undergraduate school fairs?

Idk really. Never been to one. I just received the invite and thought I would pass it on. Perhaps more like a UG fair but with fee waivers?

Thanks . I got an email from Emory stating they were giving fee waivers to folks that visited their booths so it's likely other schools are doing the same.

I'm in the middle of doing my applications and I'm kind of dumbfounded on what to select in the "what race do you identify yourself as?" question. I'm Mexican-American. My parents are both from Mexico and I was born here in the US. I already selected in one of the previous questions that I was a hispanic/latino and chose Mexican as my ethnicity, but in the race question I don't see any latino/hispanic options. I think when I was younger my mom made me choose white/caucasian, but I have brown skin so that doesn't really work out. Should I just choose "decline to respond"?
