I don't know. If I guess too high, I'll be afraid to show my face (font?) on this thread again.

URM 173 and 3.4 should have a good shot at everything. Perhaps a ding at YS but I would guess you could get into H with it

I hope that's true. But you don't know.
I want one particular school REALLY REALLY badly for some good reasons, and they love GPA. I'm trying to make them pay attention to my PS at least to see if my LSAT might push me over the edge.

In that case, I hope you get 180. I'm sure YS will still look at your whole app despite gpa. Good luck!

Sweet.. my undergrad college posted short bio blurbs of the top students in each department on the college's webpage. The chair of the department, and guy who chose me, is also one of my LOR writers. I recently let him know that I received my first law school acceptance(Duke). He put it up as part of my bio and now all of a sudden random people are coming and asking me about LSAT/law school tips. FML.

Yeah...earning school wide acknowledgment for being admitted into a T14 and then having people solicit you for advice...must be terrible. Its gonna suck when you sweep HYS...you'll be borderline suicidal.tkgrrett wrote:Sweet.. my undergrad college posted short bio blurbs of the top students in each department on the college's webpage. Lol, if you knew me you would understand better.. Im not very small-talky/attention-seeking type person and I go to school in the south. Around here, a conversation about law school includes a telling of the person's life story, what they wanted to do when they were in HS, their parents/siblings occupation's and THEN you get to the actual point. I mean, 90% of the time I dont really mind it but it sometimes gets awkward when ppl are like "oh my god!! you got into Duke Law you must be super smart". Generally when people at my school ask me where I am applying/want to go I just say Vandy and even that can get a bit awkward.GAIAtheCHEERLEADER wrote:Yeah...earning school wide acknowledgment for being admitted into a T14 and then having people solicit you for advice...must be terrible.
