Orale.
I feel like you'll do better than you think. How are your softs?
You have much faith in me TLSbf.
Softs are average. Couple of internships, hold a pretty vital leadership position on campus.

Why are you sure you wouldn't improve in December?

Because that 162 took literally everything in me. I scored a 155 in June after studying since January, and after June I immediately went into prepping for October and all I did was study to perfect it. Plus, um, I already gave away all of my LSAT prep material.

Ah, ok. I still think you'll do well.
I don't think our TLSrelationship is making me overly optimistic.

depends on what your definition of diverse is.
There's a low number of AA in law school in general, however other URM's are more common

Anyway, I thought I should come out, as it were. I've been lurking, but clearly you all are too cool for me to just sit back and watch--I want to get in on the fun. And the dance parties which will clearly be going down as we all get our acceptances.
To introduce myself: biracial AA female, 3.5/179, UG not an Ivy but may as well've been. Pretty much blanketing the T14, intending to go to whichever gives me the most $$$. Want to work in-house for tech companies or VCs, so gunning for SF biglaw with every intent on bailing after 4 - 5yrs because I prefer to work some vague semblance of reasonable hours, thank-you-very-much.
Best of luck on all your cycles!
You are going to probably sweep YHS and get full scholarship offers everywhere else. Congrats on the fabulous LSAT score! Please let us know how your cycle turns out.
Note: When I consider retaking a score in the 170s, this is why. My life needs to be like Elle Woods's.

The GWU ED is a full ride.
On an unrelated note, no URMs have received JS1s yet?
Nope and it's pretty much confirming my belief that Im probably rejected or waitlisted. Especially since in the Harvard thread, dozens of people who went complete after me have received them.

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet. At least wait until January to let the pessimism come into play.

You can start your applications before you take your LSAT.

And I just got an email from their BLSA chapter that made me think maybe I should apply.
I felt the same way as the dudes in the video when I was in undergrad. Great Video.

that was a pretty great video. my parents went to UCLA for grad school and my dad (who is MA) said that the La Raza law student org was pretty active when he was there and that nowadays there's a lot of crossover with the La Raza and the BLSA because a lot of the latinos are afro-latino. But there are also several non-afrolatino black law students. His main complaint was that UCLA (and all the UCs) inflate their diversity statistics by including asian-americans. But my understanding is that that is the common practice all over.
also, please don't quote.. i'm planning on erasing this in a few hours.

Ok, so I see that some people are freaking out about similar situations that I was in last year; please feel free to pm me if you want more info. Although I am starting to outline, I'd be glad to answer questions...though some of you played my life lol.
