I pretty much did the same thing, but I have one hard class. All my classes are super early in the morning and very skippable (attendance is not big deal) so the fact that going to a class isn't changing my grade makes it extremely temping to skip.

I'm in 21 credit hours, working 20 hours a week for the DA, and ref basketball games at night. I'm definitely feeling that senioritis, or it might be exhaustion. Haven't figured it out yet.Wahrheit wrote:My classes are heavily weighted on participation.90convoy wrote:I pretty much did the same thing, but I have one hard class. Finals are just going to be spending about 2hrs per class on a paper full of ideas I've already written about for the last two years. This is the life.

I just realized we have the same major. I know how it is. I've been writing the same 4 papers all of undergrad lolWahrheit wrote:My classes are heavily weighted on participation.90convoy wrote:I pretty much did the same thing, but I have one hard class. Yeah, I like to stay busy though. I'm used to having football stuff all day, so I filled my schedule up since my playing days are over.90convoy wrote:I wouldn't be feeling either of those. I'd be feeling death

You sound like me in college. That 20+ unit/20+ hr work week life. I'm weirdly excited for law school because l know I'll be able to just focus 100% on school like I never could in undergrad.Dream_weaver32 wrote:I'm in 21 credit hours, working 20 hours a week for the DA, and ref basketball games at night. Yeah, I look forward to being able to fully invest all my time into one thing and not feel bad about it.lc39 wrote:You sound like me in college. That 20+ unit/20+ hr work week life. I second that motion. Studying without worrying about work will be oddly refreshing. Until then, just consider me the male version of Rachel Zane.lc39 wrote:You sound like me in college. To make a long story short, the USPS hasn't been delivering anything to my box for a few weeks and I didn't realize it until Cornell notified me that they received their package back RTS...I communicated this to Columbia and they said they tried to mail something out to me on 1/22.
So unless I'm the first Columbia reject of the cycle...I'm IN???

I know it's on its way back to them by now (considering Stanford's package was sent a couple days ago and it already was sent back to them), so I'll probably have to wait a couple weeks at least for a new letter. They told me to let them know if I hadn't received it by next Friday.

Oh my, that's an agonizing wait. Would be nice if they could just tell you over email, given the circumstances.lc39 wrote:I really hope there's a shiny scholarship in that envelope~jemthey17 wrote:AHHH!!!! Congrats, LC! Yes. That shiny scholarship is called a Hamilton...I'll be shocked if it's not at least a Butler.lc39 wrote:I really hope there's a shiny scholarship in that envelope~jemthey17 wrote:AHHH!!!! 1. Congrats LC!
2. I kind of liked how cutthroat that certain person was on the Suits premier. I think his character nails the 'biglaw' personality perfectly
